MASON FOREVER FOUNDATION 5k

Please join us on Thursday June 5, 2025 at 6:30pm for the 4th Annual Mason Forever 5K  and basket raffle. The Mason FOREVER Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that promotes youth sports and students pursuing a degree in the medical/health/fitness fields. The foundation was established in 2020 in honor of Mason Sawyer Monteleone, a Junior on the Deans List at Florida State University.  He was majoring in Interdisciplinary Medical Sciences when he tragically died in a car accident on August 28th, 2020.

Sports, physical health, mental health and education were core to his being.  Mason played youth football for the Lewiston Porter Youth Football Club and travel soccer for the Niagara Pioneer Soccer Club. He also participated in soccer, basketball, wrestling and track while in middle school at Lewiston-Porter. He attended Canisius High School where he participated in soccer, rugby and wrestling. He was also a member of the Catholic NY State Champion Canisius High School football team. He enjoyed snowboarding, skiing, and jet skiing.

The Mason FOREVER Foundation was established to support other young people that share the same passions as Mason. We would like to thank everyone that has already donated. Your generous support keeps Mason alive in our hearts and memories by promoting the ideals that embodied him.

This year the foundation will grant several scholarships to like-minded learners who are studying in the medical/health or fitness fields. 

START/FINISH

Marilyn Toohey Park: The race will start and finish at Marilyn Toohey Park. There will be a water station located at the midpoint of the 5K course and bottled water and light food/snacks will be provided at the finish line after the race. -The 5K course is USATF Certified!

REGISTRATION & PACKET PICKUP
 

Online registration will remain open right up until the start of the race or until sold out. All participants who register by 5/15/25 are guaranteed to receive an official Mason Forever 5K shirt in their desired size. We will order a limited quantity of extra shirts after this date in a variety of sizes that will be made available during checkout on a first-come, first-serve basis until they are gone. The 5K Run will start at 6:30pm.
